A day or two after moving into the house, we put up two bird feeders, one with a wild bird seed mix, the other with fat balls. Fortunately there were two brackets, they are situated on a fence underneath a tall conifer, which overhangs from next door and gives the birds natural cover.
There are a pair of robins, they are around the garden most of the time, we hear the beautiful singing in the trees, they are tempted by the fat balls. A blue tit flew to the seed feeder, then quickly flew to the fat balls, which are proving more popular. We also have two wrens which dart around the undergrowth, love to see the birds in the garden.
