I wanted to knit something for a new baby, I had some suitable double knitting wool. I asked in a local haberdashery shop for patterns, the woman working there recommended Ravelry a website with lots of free patterns and suggestions for knitting and crocheting. It does take a little thought to convert the of needles and wools into familiar sizing on this U.S. website, but there are charts available on the internet. It is simply a case of setting up an account and downloading the chosen pattern, I used pdf. format.
I am really pleased with the finished result, I can crochet, but prefer to knit, this knitted honeycomb pattern, looks quite complicated, but is actually fairly easy. I shall definitely make it again.
