Our final outing was a train to Hastings, the weather was dull and overcast. We were soon on our way, riding through the scenic Kent and Sussex countryside.
We walked through the busy shopping area towards the sea, the castle dominating the skyline. The sounds of gulls filling the sky.
We walked to the pebbly beach,
With many traditional attractions for children and adults.
We rode up the funicular after a refreshing pot of tea.
We walked upwards to get some great views along the coast.
Fish are caught off the beach at Hasting, we stopped off to buy some smoked mackerel. I also enjoyed the most wonderful orange marmalade ice cream.
We also had a look round the RNLI lifeboat house before heading back to the train station and home.
