The Stapelia gigantea, a rather dull pot plant has produced an extraordinary flower.
We have just become Grandparents for the first time, when we heard the good news, we decided to knit a blanket and members of the family helped to knit squares, which I then crocheted together. The knitted lace border has finished the cover beautifully, thanks to Kate for the pattern.
Isn’t that flower amazing. I’m sure mine bloomed much later than this last year. It didn’t have any buds on when I came away anyway.
The blanket is very pretty. well done on finishing it so fast.
I will be back home on Monday afternoon. See you soon. Kate
The flower has quite a few flies buzzing around it. I did have to modify one of the rows of the pattern but it is quite easy. Look forward to seeing you and catching up with news.
