We have been enjoying the beautiful poppies. These were seeds planted and mentioned in a previous post. (link underlined)
This small collection of seeds have produced an attractive group of pretty, colourful flowers and hopefully they will seed and provide flowers and colours for years to come. Rio is enjoying the autumn sunshine.
As I had my camera, I couldn’t resist taking a photograph of a newly planted Viburnum Bodnantense “Dawn” with four pretty polyanthus.
For many years I have thought hydrangeas with their mophead flowers rather old fashioned, we have inherited three plants from the previous owner and I have changed my mind, they are so pretty.
Finally these summer flowering canna and the annual verbenas are still providing colour until the first frosts, hopefully the pansies will continue flowering through to spring.
