Lovely walk (Cerro Gordo)

I happened to say that, I had never walked up Cerro Gordo, although we have lived in its shadow for 12 years. The other Jay suggested we walk it this afternoon.

I put my boots on and my waterproof windproof jacket, which is mostly only worn in the Keswick area, and off we trotted up the hill.

I say hill, but the height above sea is over 430 metres. As we climbed the ridge, it was a little windy.1Hunters

The image shows what looks like a large nest, is we believe, the makings of a hide for the hunters, shooting the wild birds.

Another image towards Limaria shows part of a rainbow.

At the top I sat in one of the hunters hollows to catch my breath and take some more images with my camera.
